Svetlana Tikhanovskaya held an online meeting with representatives of the United Strike Movement of Belarusian enterprises.
They discussed the development of the strike movement and independent trade unions. The importance of further support of workers has been emphasised.
Tikhanovskaya informed about negotiations which her team has held with the international trade union of workers IndustriAll and the International Labor Organization. IndustriAll is ready to help strike committees and independent trade unions in Belarus financially, as well as to exclude Belkhimprofsoyuz from IndustriAll.
Despite the repressions and criminal cases, workers of enterprises continue to join the strike - over the past month, 9 people have joined the strike.
