A father of a large family has been convicted and fined because of white-red-white blinds in his own house. The man has appealed the decision, but the whole story has already had an impact on his children.
Psychologists started working with his children. An inspection was organized from the school of one of the sons, examining the living conditions and child-rearing of under aged kids. The inspectors who visited the house did not have any complaints. In their report it is noted that “both parents participate in the upbringing of their children in a proper way. There is a friendly and warm environment in the family ”.
But that was not all. The father of seven children says that the eldest son was invited for a talk at his college. The son was asked about his father and whether he helped the father to put up these white-red-white blinds. Moreover, the guy heard that if his dad won´t calm down and the college will be informed again, he might lose his place at college.
As a rule, Children´s Services should take a particular interest in children when they are clearly in danger. How can harmless blinds endanger children? Or harmless ribbons? Or expression of own opinion? Unfortunately, this is far from being the only case. It looks like keeping people protesting against violence in prisons in inhuman conditions is not enough for Lukashenka’s regime. Maybe pressure on children can help Lukashenko?..
