According to @ viasna96 in IK No. 17 in Shklov, in the colony where Vitold Ashurak died, the political prisoners are being punished for answering the letters of solidarity. As one of the prisoners told the relatives, political prisoners who respond to letters of support from strangers are sent to a pre-trial detention center.
Currently, there are 42 political prisoners in the colony, including politician Pavel Sevyarynets, drummer Alexei Sanchuk, actor Sergei Volkov, businessman Alexander Trotsky, volunteer from Babariki's headquarters Igor Yarmolov and others.
